FARM CONSTRUCTION // INDUSTRIAL PHOTOGRAPHY
We loved being a part of this early morning photoshoot for Farm Construction who had recently built a new storage unit for one of their customers in Darlington.
The brief was to capture the scale of the new grain storage units on the farm, and by going early one morning we could capture the grain being moved via JCB, this would show the scale of the job as well as get that nice early morning light.
We started off with some static images without interrupting the team working, we just captured the action as it was happening as we didn’t want to delay or take up the time of the farm workers.
After that we jumped into one of the cabs in order to get some photo and video of the machinery making its way through the unit so you could see the scale from a different view point.
Lastly we sent the drone up to get some footage from higher up looking down inside the unit, as well as showing it from above.
This was a pretty straight forward photoshoot for the client to arrange as they got in touch with us and told us what they needed and when we would be able to capture it, which was great!
When we had the drone up following some of the machinery, one of the workers asked if he needed to drive or move in a certain position which was great for us as it meant we could dictate how the images looked, and it also meant the staff were happy to get involved and we werent going to be holding up their job.
Photoshoots and video shoots like this take place on location, we always try and be as least disruptive as possible and we can work at times to suit you and your client when necessary, for example early morning like this shoot, as this is when the farm work was happening,
This customer also decided to add on a short highlights video made up of small clips from the shoot, which is perfect as a website header or a quick overview offer of what the company can offer or showcasing their recent work.
